AS A MERSEYSIDE ICON, IT WAS ONLY APPROPRIATE THAT ONE DAY, WE WOULD BE HOUSED IN OUR OWN ICONIC BUILDING.

And in 2006, our dream was realised with the opening of the Bling Bling Building, a £3 million development, designed by renowned architect, Piers Gough, who wanted to create a place to match the personality of Herbert Howe – describing him as the ‘King of Bling’.

Situated on the cusp of the Liverpool Ropewalks and Liverpool One districts, the Bling Bling Building is an energetic commercial centre of excellence hosting five upper floors dedicated to hair, education and beauty. It was conceived as a tribute to the great fashion houses of the past – clothes were designed on one floor; sewn on another, shown on a third and retailed on the ground.

“The Bling Bling Building is established as an Emporium dedicated to the hairdressing industry”

Keeping everyone in close proximity makes for an incredible strong culture where ideas can be shared freely. As everything within the Bling Bling Building is self-contained, we work hard to direct and set local hair and trends by developing head-turning cuts, colours and styles. We also do our own marketing, photography, public relations, finance and education. There’s nothing we cannot do ourselves.

In 2010, The Bling Bling Building was voted Europe’s most beautiful Salon by Aesthetica Magazine, Italy.
