INTRODUCTION

An Advanced apprenticeship is an NVQ Level 3 qualification and lasts between 12 and 18 months. Included in the Advanced Apprenticeship are key skills;

Application of number Level 2 and Communication Level 2

Learners are reviewed every ten to twelve weeks and work based assessments are carried out in their salon. The Learner will attend college weekly to gain the underpinning knowledge/ written papers needed to complete their qualification.

Student Profile
Fundamental skills ideally from the Apprenticeship course and a drive for more tuition in all aspects of hairdressing up to NVQ Level 3.

Format
Theory/Practical. You will learn all advanced aspects of Hairdressing.

Pre Qualification requirement
All students must have NVQ Level 2 qualifications to progress to Advanced NVQ Level 3 qualification.
