
INTRODUCTION
An Apprenticeship is an NVQ Level 2 qualification and lasts on average for two years.
Learners are work based which means they are employed by a salon but come in to college for one day per week, where they learn practical skills and the underpinning knowledge needed in the industry. Included in the Apprenticeship framework are key skills;
Application of Level 1 and Communication Level 1.
Learners are reviewed every ten to twelve weeks on their progress and assessed both in the college and periodically in their salon.

Student Profile
No formal experience is necessary, although you will be required to be hard working and passionate about hair!
Format
Theory/Practical. You will learn all fundamental aspects of Hairdressing and Customer Service.
NVQ Awarded
Certificate of accreditation toward NVQ level II.
